Family Medicine Resident Survey on Behavioral Health Skills

This resource consists of a series of questions that assess for how confident residents are in specific areas of behavioral health training. Questions on confidence levels were divided into sections around mental health diagnosis, psychotropic medications, and practice in using counseling theories. Residents also reported their experience on their behavioral health rotation, along with open-ended questions about areas on this rotation that were both beneficial and lacking.  This resource is submitted as an accompaniment to a PRiMER manuscript, describing the implementation and outcomes of this national survey taken by Family Medicine residents.
