In this talk, Sandra Burge encourages behavioral science faculty to see themselves as scholars, and to envision the Forum as a learning community in which to join forces, build scholarly skills and generate new knowledge. She defines scholarship as a fundamental activity within a learning community and emphasizes small and large ways we can contribute to the science of behavioral science. She shares lessons learned from 30 years of doing and teaching research with the goal of helping research-naive faculty to "up their game" toward a more scholarly approach to their work.
