The University of Michigan Family Medicine residency program designed a specialized track in order to recruit Spanish-fluent residents and train them with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to serve the Hispanic population, and to create a pipeline of Spanish-fluent providers for our area. In addition to full spectrum training, our track focuses on community medicine initiatives relevant to our local Hispanic community.
