Leadership Training in Medical School: A Student, Resident, and Faculty Perspective

Leadership is a skill that is unanimously important in the delivery of healthcare, yet there is little consensus on best practices for its instruction and assessment. We believe this a teachable skill that should start early in undergraduate medical education. This interactive session will include an oral presentation from a panel of medical students, residents, and attending physicians to highlight creative solutions on implementing leadership training throughout a 4-year preclinical curriculum and its impact on transitioning to residency.
