Institutional support - Rutgers University identified Global Health as biennial theme during 2013-2015 to harness the intellectual strengths of humanities, social and life sciences; business, law, and economics; education, and the care professions with the biomedical and health sciences. 2. Individual commitment: A director and Henry Rutgers Professor of Global Health will be recruited to work with faculty leaders towards a cohesive, university-wide global health program. “Distinction in Global Health” will be awarded with diplomas at commencement for current medical students of exceptional leadership; and “Chancellor’s Global Health Scholarship” will be offered to five students in entering class 2015. 3.
