Bill Cayley Jr teaches at the Prevea Family Medicine Residency Program sites in Augusta and Eau Claire (Wisconsin), practices at Prevea Augusta Family Medicine, and is the medical director for the Augusta Health and Rehabilitation nursing home. Professional interests include evidence-based medicine, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and writing.
Bill is an active member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. He is the Books and Media reviews editor for the journal Family Medicine, and an editor for the Cochrane Heart Group.
Bill is a 1990 graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (M Div), a 1996 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MD), and a 1999 graduate of the Eau Claire Family Medicine Residency. Personal interests include running, boating, travel, reading, music, and writing.
