Junior Faculty Core Skills Toolbox: What Do You Need to Thrive as aa Medical Student Educator

01-26-2022 13:53

Establishing a strong foundation in the core skills of medical education will enable family medicine faculty to contribute the education, assessment, and training of medical students.  It will also establish family medicine faculty and departments as exemplars of education and training, and position those faculty for successful development and growth of their careers in medical education.

This session highlights core skills and competencies that junior faculty should be aware of and developing, including topics such as feedback, curriculum development and assessment, goal-driven education, and career trajectory planning.

STFM Medical Student Education Development Institute (MSEDI) faculty lead this session, providing a highlight reel of the MSEDI program.
