Many medical students are looking for ways to serve their communities and obtain early clinical experiences. This session will identify ways utilized by three successful university program that incorporate student research as an educational experience, thereby improving patient satisfaction and outcomes at their prospective sites. The discussions will generate practical suggestions for evaluating and researching the needs of the community served by those free clinics and ways to foster student research interest.
