Achieving the Triple Aim: Creating a Population Health and Leadership Curriculum

05-03-2017 11:55

The goal of this session is to share the process of how the OHSU family medicine residency program used the Population Health Milestones to create a program-specific curriculum in Population Health and Leadership. The curriculum covers content in population data analysis, practice management, public health and primary care integration, health policy, advocacy, social determinants of health, health equity, and community engagement. Active learning strategies including break out working groups and group discussion will be employed to help participants critically think about their home institution’s curricular gaps in population health and identify strategies and community partnerships to fill these gaps. We will also share a curriculum resource list that includes learning objectives, learning strategies, free online resources, and evaluation methods which can be used to enhance your program's curriculum.
