Research Minutes

02-23-2019 14:32

For several years, I led the research curriculum for the family medicine program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  Their projects were moving targets, progressing at various stages across the year.  Because I wanted to teach research concepts that were timely and matched to their projects' stage of progress, I developed one-pager research lessons, called Research Minutes.  In this way, I could slip them a quick lesson relevant to their immediate needs.  These Research Minutes address getting started, IRB, research design, simple statistics, posters, graphing, and writing and other topics.  Research Minutes are designed for research-naive audiences.
